Writer: Base Leg MXBase Leg MX

We just completed our 5th trip to Alaska, and it was nothing short of an incredible adventure! Here are some quick stats from our journey:

  • Duration: 16 days round trip

  • Total Flight Time: 56.5 hours

  • Distance Covered: 8569 statute miles

  • Fuel Consumed: 697 gallons

  • Average Groundspeed: 148 knots

The goal of this trip was to document the final route using the Alaska Highway. Over the years, we’ve explored 4-5 different routes to Alaska from the US, including the Trench, the Alaska Highway, and the coast. Now that we have completed all of them, we’re excited to announce that we’re compiling all our experiences and insights into a comprehensive book for those of you who wish to embark on this journey.
